The title « Entropie » (Entropy) comes from Swiss polymath Jacques Neyrinck’s The Eighth Day of Creation (untranslated in English so far). I discovered the book thanks to Swiss trance parties organizers, Neyrinck being a professor at the Lausanne Polytechnic University. In his book, he considers technology as evolving by itself without human direction or even guidance (this is a very crude summary of his thesis). He called this process « entropology », which « entropy » derives from.
